Search Engines

In this web page, various search engines are introduced. These engines are capable of searching home pages using keywords.

ODIN - Open Documentary Information Navigator: This engine covers documents on WWW servers in Japan.
Use of expressions allows you to specify search conditions such as AND, partial match, or narrowing down the search subjects.
Clairvoyance: This engine covers documents on WWW servers in Japan.
Keywords are taken out from titles and headlines.
RCAAU -- MONDOU: This engine covers documents on WWW servers in Japan.
Not only does this engine search for a keyword, but displays keywords which are related to the entered keyword. This enables you to narrow the search subjects.
Alta Vista: This engine covers WWW pages and net news (Usenet) through out the world. (However, Japanese may not be included in the search conditions.)
Open Text (Japanese): This engine accepts arbitrary character strings and performs full text retrieval.
