In front of our main gate is a gas light from the days of the Meiji Restoration. In progress is the new town plan towards the 21st century, Minatomirai21. Yokohama is an international city, which treasures "history and tradition", and aims to "be at the front and keeps on developing". At the center of the City is Honcho Elementary. Inside the school are the children engaged in activities preparing for the future in a open space using computers.
Friends from within the school, from the district, from the nation, from the world are searched for, through the Internet, to build the world tomorrow, together.
