We are in Fukui city, a city of nature with competent citizens. The school is an "open school", where individual children's personalities and future possibilities are seriously taken into account, and was opened in 1991 school year. Our research theme is "curricula development towards the open schools", and our undertaking includes both studies by subjects and studies across subjects.
We set "lively studies with commitment from children" as the sub-theme for 1995 school year, and have been working at it.
