[Introduction]

The school is located on a hill at the center of Sendai. We have views of Pacific Ocean and of the city. Next to us is the Oosaki Hachiman Shrine, a national treasure. To the south is Hirose River. On the opposite side of the river are Tohoku Univ. and Miyagi Univ. of Educations.
It is 10 years since we started collaboration with Tohoku Gakuin Univ. on CAI, following our installation of computers in 1986. Our LAN has been connected to the Internet, and a study into group ware is also under way.
