The school house of Akutsu Junior High is a four story building within a 15 minutes' walk from Houseki-ji (a treasure temple) railway station, which was popular in one time together with its nearby Oogane (a large amount of money) station.
Since it is erected on a hill at the far north of the Kanto plains, we can enjoy a distant view of Mt. Fuji from our roof. Cherries surrounding the school ground bloom beautifully in spring.
JRC(Junior Red Cross) is very active. The Japan Red Cross awarded us a gold medal in 1994.
