Takeokita Junior High is established as the result of a merger of two junior highs, Wakagi Junior High of Wakagi-cho and Takeuchi Junior High of Takeuchi-cho, in 1972.
We aim at bringing up students who are broad-minded and tough, with strong personalities and creativities. Be independent, sincere and tolerant is our school motto.
Though small in size we are, our girls long distance relay team won the entry to the All Kyushu Games in consecutive three years. Such is an example of how much motivated the students are in their club activities
