We adopt a continued 6 year junior and senior high school system with our school traditions of "independence and freedom". We call the first year of junior high the first year, and the third year of senior high the sixth year.
As can be found from no chime sounded between classes, our school is quite free and of characters.
As an attached school to Hiroshima University, we accept over 200 trainee student teachers. We put emphasis on practice teaching by them and also on educational studies with the sight into the next era.
