When started in 1953, Kawasaki City Commercial High School had the commercial course only.
The information processing course is opened in 1987, and the international business course in 1994. As the result, the class organization has changed, though the total number of classes for a year has not and is 8. The resulting class organization is such that. The commercial course has 5 classes, the information processing 2, and the international business 1.
In 1995, computers were upgraded, and they number some 350 now.
