Yonago South Commercial High is widely known in and outside of the prefecture, and has long and brilliant traditions.
The school was first established in 1927 as Prefectural Sericulture School.
The following year, the school was reorganized and renamed to Yonago Commercial and Sericulture School. We then went through many reorganizations and changes. All through those years, we sustained and promoted vocational education in the prefecture.
In 1970, we went through yet another change to become a single course commercial high school and were renamed to Yonago South Commercial High School.
