The school was established in 1932 for physically handicapped children and was the first of the kind in Japan.
The majority of the children are day students from Setagaya, Meguro, Shibuya, Suginami, Nakano, Minato, and Shinjuku. We have some boarders as well.
We have a class called Soyokaze (breeze) Branch in the National Children's Hospital. The children who are hospitalized there can study at that branch.
