Established in 1931, we have the longest history among those of the schools for the deaf in Hyogo.
We are located in Tarumi, Kobe, near the Akashi Bridge, which is under construction.
We have a nursing, a kindergarten, an elementary, a high, and a vocational courses to provide special education for the deaf consistently.
Based on the spirit of respect for man's life and dignity, we make efforts to bring up students persons with well-integrated personality, and encourage them to develop to overcome their hearing difficulties and to cultivate abilities to support themselves.
We are grateful to all from all over the world who sent us their warm concerns in regard to Hanshin earthquake disaster in 1995.
