The center was opened on June 01, 1985, with the aims to help promote educational and cultural activities in Amagasaki, and to help improve the educational facilities. We have a technical arts and craft work room, a teaching material production room, a group playing and consultation room, an educational information corner, a science laboratory, a music room, three training rooms, a computer class room, an LL class room, an audio visual room, and a stadium.
We run an on-line system for education. An IBM7095-950 and a 7093-53H are the hosts, and 74 municipal schools are on line connected.
We built a reference and teaching material DB, and provide the e-mail, the bulletin board, and the conference services. Computers in the center are also connected to the network.
